Planning and discovery
Weeks 1-2: scope confirmation, governance alignment, requirements workshops, supplier strategy, and integration planning.
Every agency, invoice, worker, and bill rate in one platform, in real time. The fee comes out of supplier invoices, not your budget.
Most programs see a net reduction in total contingent spend within the first year.
The flow
A clear path from first step to measurable outcome.
Weeks 1-2: scope confirmation, governance alignment, requirements workshops, supplier strategy, and integration planning.
Weeks 2-3: workflow setup, rate cards, approval chains, user roles, onboarding rules, and reporting configuration.
Weeks 4-5: data mapping, integration setup, testing, and validation, all included at no additional cost.
Supplier and user onboarding, end-to-end testing, then go-live. Straightforward programs have gone live in four weeks.
Inside the product
Built in-house on a proprietary cloud platform. Not white-labeled, not outsourced.
Post job orders, query headcount, or find spend reduction opportunities by voice or text, with no manual report building.
Invoices are generated from approved timesheets, not accepted from agencies. Rate creep and invoice disputes end here.
Rate cards by role, location, and labor category with version control. Over-rate submissions are blocked at the system level.
Requirements configured per role with expiration alerts. Workers can be hard-blocked from starting until requirements are met.
Use your existing HRIS time clock (primarily UKG), mobile geolocation punch-in, or biometric options, with automated daily punch correction reports to agencies.
Real-time dashboards for workforce spend, vendor performance, and compliance, with raw CSV export for ERP and BI ingestion.
How we compare
Pricing
The platform fee, typically 2 to 3%, is retained from staffing agency invoices. It comes out of existing agency margin, not on top of your rates.
$0to you
Full VMS and MSP coverage with a single point of accountability across every site.
Good to know
Nothing to you. SourceNow operates on a vendor-funded model. Our fee, typically 2 to 3%, is retained from staffing agency invoices. You pay no software license, no implementation fee, no integration fee, and no ongoing support fee. In most programs, clients see a net reduction in total contingent labor spend within the first year, even after the agency fee is factored in.
The fee comes out of the existing margin agencies earn on your bill rates. It does not get added on top. We typically renegotiate your bill rates downward as part of implementation, so the net effect is lower total spend even after the agency fee is accounted for. Agencies that push back on this model are almost always the ones that do not want visibility into what they are charging you.
No minimums. We work with companies running 50 concurrent workers and $10M in annual contingent spend up through $1B programs. The model scales in both directions.
Standard implementation is 8 to 12 weeks. For companies with active participation and limited initial integrations, we can accelerate to go-live in 4 to 8 weeks. Straightforward programs have gone live in four weeks.
All integrations are included at no additional cost. That covers design, build, testing, and ongoing maintenance, including Workday, UKG, Paylocity, ADP, Bullhorn, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power BI, and Tableau.
